WE LEARN ENGLISH. STD-2nd. TOPIC-INTRODUCING SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE ( SENTENSE MAKING & Oral recitation, reading & writing ) ACTIVITY-
Teacher suggests students to write what they do everyday
from the morning to
the night in their notebook.
But the condition is that they should write the name of the act they do in one word using their mother tongue.
For example-As you see in the following image,
Gaurav has written one of the act as,
"झाडावर चढतो.."
Here, I've suggested him to write a name of the act,"चढतो" only.( ie.one word only..)
IN THIS WAY,
YESTERDAY,all the students from standard 2nd,had made a list of acts they do everyday as per my suggestion, within half an hour..Each student wrote 20-25 words in their notebook..
Then, it was the time to tell the ENGLISH WORD for each marathi word they wrote in their copy.
I,myself took the copy of each student & wrote the ENGLISH WORDs (with same meaning for Marathi words they written) front to the MARATHI WORDS & told them to study all these words well at home. This was the homework for them.
TODAY,
When I entered in the classroom, students requested me to take the recitation of all the words with their meanings that they studied at home yesterday as a part of their homework.
Me too,was very eager to test them how they studied these words...I took their oral test & they all get passed in it..
Then,
I wrote all the words (verbs) on the blackboard one below the other & Labeled the whole list as' V1' at the top .
My students from STD 2nd knows all the 'S's (SUBJECTS) very well as they studied in the last year during daily communications & performing preplanned language learning activities in the classroom.
So today It made very easy for them to make simple sentences in "S+V1" structure..(ie.SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE)
See this image..
Here I'm going to share a video ( recorded today in the classroom) of one of my students named BHARATI, in which you can see how she gives expected response.. |
